Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System (“Federal Grid Company” or "the Company”) (MICEX-RTS, LSE: FEES), announces that on 11 May 2012 the Russian Ministry of Energy approved Federal Grid Company’s investment programme for 2012-2014.  The approved plan entails investments totalling RUB 504.8 billion into the commissioning of 50,368 MVA of new transformer capacity and 13,147 kilometres of new transmission lines.

or "the Company”) (MICEX-RTS, LSE: FEES), announces its financial results for Q1 2012 in accordance with Russian Accounting Standards (RAS).

On 27 April 2012, in absentia meeting of the Directors Board of OJSC FGC UES (Protocol # 159 dated 27.04.2012) approved three possible ways of long-term borrowing for the Company  in debt capital markets. Following  fungible financial instruments or combinations are now available for the Company.

On 24 April 2012 OJSC FGC UES successfully placed the 12 series RUB10bn bond issue maturing in 2019 with a 4-year put option.
